Gerald PITAWANAKWAT, a resident of Toronto passed away at Humber River
Regional Hospital, Church St. Site, Toronto, on Tuesday, February 13 2001
at the age of 59 years. Gerald was born in Cape Croker,
son of the late
Fred PITAWANAKWAT, and Agnes
WAGOSH
PITAWANAKWAT.
Gerald was a member of
the Catholic Church and enjoyed bowling.

brother of Ken (Marlene)
NADJIWON of Sudbury, Charlene
NADJIWON and Peter
NADJIWON both of Cape Croker. Predeceased by one brother Arnold. Loving
grandfather of two grandchildren Joseph G. and Emily Alexandria. Also
survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah after 7 pm. on Saturday
February 17, 2001. Funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 19, 2001 from
Holy
Cross
Church at 11 am. Father Doug
McCARTHY was the celebrant.
Interment in the Wikwemikong Cemetery.

MISHIBINIJIMA,
December 18, 1919-May 7, 2001.
Gabriel MISHIBINIJIMA, a resident of South Bay, died at the Manitoulin
Health Centre, Little Current on Monday, May 7, 2001 at the age of 81 years.
He was born in Murray Hill, Wikwemikong,
son of the late François
MISHIBINIJIMA and Rosalie
WEMIGWANS of Wikwemikong. He worked as a logger
and enjoyed bingo, horseshoes, was an excellent checker player, and hunter.
His favourite pastime was watching Saturday night National Hockey League as
well as spending time with his family reminiscing the past.
Dearly loved husband of Matilda Agnes

Angelica, Lucy Ann, Isabella, Norman, Agatha, Ignatius, Basil, Marie and
Sophia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and sadly missed by his
Friends and extended family.
The funeral mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church, South Bay on
Friday,
May 11, 2001 with Father Doug
McCARTHY as celebrant. Interment in
South Bay Cemetery.
