TURCOTTE (née
MARION,) 82 years of Sudbury who
passed away Thursday evening January 4th, 2001 at her son’s residence
in Kanata. She was born in Chrysler and married Fred
TURCOTTE in 1951 in
Ottawa. Cecile came to Sudbury in 1951 from Ottawa. She was a well liked and
respected teacher with Le Conseil Scolaire des écoles séparées de Sudbury. She retired in 1984 having
taught for 27 years. A devout Roman Catholic she attended Holy
Trinity Church and she belonged to the parish
CWL.
Cecile will be
remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Beloved
wife of Fred Turcotte predeceased 1991. Loving mother of Rita
(husband Robert
THERIAULT) of Massey, Estelle (husband Richard
Lapointe) of Whitefish, Marc (wife Jeanne) of Kanata and Carmen
(husband Richard Besner) of North Bay. Cherished grandmother of
Jean, Julie, Josée, Lucie, Zacharie, Daniel, Michael, Chelsea, Eric,
and Nicholas. Dear daughter of Solomon and Laure (Dignard) Marion
predeceased. Dear sister of Jacqueline
CÔTÉ (husband Maurice) of
Montreal and the late Dollard, Albert and Richard Marion all
predeceased. Dear sister in law of Sue Marion of Ottawa. Resting at
the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass
in Holy Trinity Church 426 Burton Ave., Sudbury Monday, January 8th,
2001 at 10 am. Interment in the Civic Cemetery Sudbury. Donations to
Heart and Soul Campaign (Heart Equipment) would be appreciated.

Loving mother of Brian (wife Diane) of Calgary, Norman (wife Linda)
of North Bay and Lauraine of Hanmer. Predeceased by her brother Raymond
THERRIEN.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren
Gary, Sandra, Kenneth, Todd,
Tim and Sabrina, and by her great grandchildren Mathew, Luke, Katie,
Marley and Questalisha. Funeral service was held Tuesday, September
11 in the Bishop Roger Despatie Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral
Home, Sudbury. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation
would be appreciated.
