Bert ANSTICE, a resident of Manitowaning, passed away at the Manitoulin Health
Centre, Little Current, on Monday, October 8, 2001 at the age of 75 years.
He was born in Tehkummah Township
son of Dorothy

ANSTICE of Tehkummah
and the late Victor
ANSTICE.
Bert enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, and worked with farm
machinery and as well as helping others. He worked as a policeman for
INCO and did a lot of carpentry and stone masonry work in his later
years. Bert was a life member of Algonquin Lodge #536, Copper Cliff,
a Charter member of the SouthEast Lions Club of Manitowaning. He was
also a member of Knox United Church. His greatest love was his family
and the grandchildren.

The funeral service was held from the Manitowaning Chapel on Friday,
October 12 with Pastor Wally
WOOD officiating. Interment in Hilly Grove Cemetery.
