NOBLE, a resident of Gore Bay and formerly of Elliot Lake and
Silver Water, died at the Manitoulin Lodge on Saturday, July 21, 2001 at the age of 85 years.
He was born in Robinson Township, June 17, 1916,
son of the late Harry and Bertha

NOBLE.
Alma had served overseas in the armed forces for four years,
with the 'Happy Walkers.' He had worked in fisheries, steel plant and worked
in the bush lumbering. He had a variety of interests, including gardening, crafts,
carpentry, wood lathe and hunting and fishing. Alma's greatest love was his family, and
spending time with them. His love and love of life will be sadly missed but
many memories will be cherished.

Predeceased by brothers Golden, Garnet and Jasper and sisters Opal and
Madeline. Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home. The funeral service was
held in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on July 25, 2001 with Pastor Lyle Dewar
officiating. Interment in Silver Lake Cemetery.

Ursula SCHNIEDER/SNIDER/SNYDER
{SCHOLZ} , a resident of Kagawong, died at her residence on
Wednesday,
January 10 2001 at the age of 75 years.
She was born in East Germany, and immigrated to the United States in 1960.
She then met Raymond
SCHNIEDER/SNIDER/SNYDER, and
on December 26 1962, they were married.
In 1984, after their house was built, she moved from Illinois to Kagawong.
She loved to read, and had a wide range of knowledge of other countries and
history. Her favourite pastime was gardening, and as was described, she had
'10 green thumbs'.
Ursula was the dearly loved wife of Raymond
SCHNIEDER/SNIDER/SNYDER of Kagawong. Dear sister
of Margot STEPA of Cleveland, Ohio. She is also survived by Friends she and
Raymond have made since moving to Kagawong.
The funeral service was conducted in the William G. Turner Chapel at
11: 00 am. with Mr. Paul Cooper officiating. Spring interment in
Kagawong Cedars Cemetery.
