Joe LAVALLEE, a resident of South Bay, died at his residence on Sunday March
25, 2001. He was born in South Bay,

OSABABINE of Wikwemikong. He was employed as a logger and
carpenter, Joe enjoyed bingo and quilting blankets. He also was involved
with the community on the Education and Housing committees and very active
in the Catholic Church.

funeral mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church, South Bay at 11: 00
a.m. with Fr. Doug McCarthy as celebrant. Interment in South Bay Cemetery.

December 18, 1919-May 7, 2001.
Gabriel MISHIBINIJIMA, a resident of South Bay, died at the Manitoulin
Health Centre, Little Current on Monday, May 7, 2001 at the age of 81 years.
He was born in Murray Hill, Wikwemikong,
son of the late François
MISHIBINIJIMA and Rosalie
WEMIGWANS of Wikwemikong. He worked as a logger
and enjoyed bingo, horseshoes, was an excellent checker player, and hunter.
His favourite pastime was watching Saturday night National Hockey League as
well as spending time with his family reminiscing the past.

Sophia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and sadly missed by his
Friends and extended family.

Friday,
May 11, 2001 with Father Doug
McCARTHY as celebrant. Interment in
South Bay Cemetery.
