RUNNALLS,
May 29, 1933-October 8, 2001.
Bob RUNNALLS, a recent resident of the Wikwemikong Nursing Home, and formerly of
Mindemoya, died at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home on Monday, October 8, 2001 at the
age of 68 years. He was born in Mills Township,
son of the late Nelson and Verna
{BAKER}
RUNNALLS.
Bob was retired from farming and as caretaker of the Mindemoya Arena.
He had a most interesting and varied life, and had been secretary of the Central
Manitoulin Lions Club for 12 years, correspondent for the newspaper, a member of
the Hospital Board, coached minor hockey, a member of the Radio Club and was
active in the museum. Bob had many other interests such as genealogy, which led
him to contacting relatives all over the world. He also enjoyed puzzles and games,
and had a great interest in teaching kids right from wrong. Bob lived for
and loved to help people and his community, such as being a caregiver for the
Canadian National Institute for the Blind. He will also be remembered for his
favourite truck "Henry." Bob was well liked and well known, and will be greatly
missed on Manitoulin.

Runnalls of Evansville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by sister-in-law Betty and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service was
conducted at the Mindemoya United Church on Thursday, October 11, 2001 with

TRACY officiating. Interment in Mindemoya Cemetery.
