Sandy McKENZIE, a resident of Sault Ste. Marie, died at the Great
Northern Retirement Home on Friday, September 14, 2001 at the age of
81 years. He was born in Gore Bay,
son of the late Jack and Evelyn
{PURVIS}
McKENZIE.
Sandy had worked at the Gore Bay airport, then
was transferred to the Sault Ste. Marie Airport where he worked until
his retirement in 1977. His greatest pleasure was listening to music,
and he enjoyed a wide variety. In his younger years, he liked to hunt.
Sandy was predeceased by his beloved wife Norine

HOWARD (husband William George
predeceased 1977) of Little Current. Proud grandfather of Vicki and
Shawn. Dear brother of Doris (Sis)
WHITE/WHYTE (husband Charlie predeceased)

McKENZIE of Gilford Conn.
Predeceased by brother Jack and sisters Sally and Wilda.
Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home from 10-11 a.m. on Monday,
September 17, 2001. The funeral services was conducted in the Wm. G.
Turner Chapel at 11: 00 a.m. with Reverend Linda White officiating.
Cremation to follow.
