KIMEWON, a resident of the Wikwemikong Nursing Home passed
away at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current, on Monday,
January 22, 2001 at the age of 84 years. Wilfred was born in
Wikwemikong,
son of the late Moses and Julia
{CORBIERE}
KIMEWON (both
predeceased.) He served in the Forestry Corps, during World War II
and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 177 Little Current.
Wilfred was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking and
cards, but his family was also very important to him.
Beloved husband for the past 55 years of Angeline
(MISHIBINIJIMA) of
Wikwemikong. Dear father of Leonard and wife Elizabeth of Lansing,
Marjorie of Toronto, Howard of Lansing, Beulah of Sudbury, Bonita and
friend James
PELTIER of Wikwemikong, Danny and friend Natalka, of
Saugeen, Emily and friend Trevor
NEWMAN of Toronto, Eugene of Orillia
and Wanda of Wikwemikong. Predeceased by one daughter Elaine. Dear
brother of Geraldine and husband Steve of Newberry. Predeceased by
three brothers Preston, Jack, Albert and three sisters Angeline,
Daisy and Georgina. Dear grandfather of 31 grandchildren and 25 great
grandchildren. Predeceased by two great grandchildren, Joanne and
Justin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass was held on Thursday, January 25, 2001, from Holy Cross
Church. Internment in the Churchyard Cemetery.

TOULOUSE, a resident of Wikwemikong, passed away at the
Sudbury Regional Hospital St. Joseph's Site, Sudbury on Monday,
January 22, 2001, at the age of 73 years. Henry was born in
Wikwemikong,
son of the late John Francis and Rosalie
{OZAZANIMIKI}
Bebamikawe (both predeceased.) Henry was a member of the Catholic
Church and his family was a very important part of his life. He loved
the outdoors, working for 50 years in the Logging Camps. During the
off season he would pick fruit and berries. He also enjoyed walking
in the bush.

Church. Internment in the Wikwemikong Cemetery.
