Reola Mae McMURRAY

August 5 1944-December 1 2001.
Reola McMURRAY, a resident of Mindemoya, died at the Mindemoya Hospital on
Saturday, December 1, 2001 at the age of 57 years. She was born at
Manitowaning, daughter of the late Leonard and Marjorie
{BRYANT}
MOGGY.
On September 15, 1962, she married Kenneth
McMURRAY, who predeceased her
November 4, 1976. Reola was a member of the Stamp Club, the Manitowaning
Choir, and spent much time being a hockey and figure skating mom, as well
as quilting and crocheting, reading books and interested in genealogy.
Reola raised her young family on her own after the death of Kenneth,
Her memory will be cherished by her children and grandchildren and other
family members. Her presence in the community will be sadly missed.
Reola was predeceased by her husband Kenneth

Friends called the Mindemoya United Church on Monday. The funeral
service was held Tuesday with Reverend Mary Jo Eckert Tracy
officiating. Interment in the Hilly Grove Cemetery, Manitowaning.

Tim PEARSON, a resident of Mindemoya, died at his residence on
Thursday, January 11 2001 at the age of 37 years.
He was born in Mindemoya,
son of Jean

PEARSON and the late
Norris PEARSON.
Tim owned and operated the Tim
PEARSON Landscaping and
Haulage business since 1992. He was a member of the Mindemoya Volunteer
Firemen, the
OFA, and the Anglers and Hunters. He had many interests,
including playing hockey, hunting, fishing, skiing and traveling. He
particularly loved to drive his dump truck. Tim enjoyed many things in
life, and when a young life has ended, it takes its toll on family and the
community. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Melvin LISCUMB, a resident of the Manitoulin Centennial Manor,
Little Current, died at the Manor on Sunday, August 19, 2001 at the

Melvin had worked at a variety of jobs over
the years, and the last being for the Department of Highways, for 25
years, retiring in the late '70s. He was a member of the Community of
Christ Church and had many interests including cutting wood,
gardening, fixing things and visiting with Friends and neighbours. He
will be sadly missed by family and Friends.
