In loving memory of Barry Leroy
CLARK who passed away September 19,
2001 in Sault Ste. Marie at the age of 61 years.
Barry was born in Mindemoya to the late Harvey and Myrtle
CLARK. He
was raised in Toronto and Burwash, then moved to Sudbury during his
high school years. He taught in Providence Bay for three years and
then moved to Sault Ste. Marie and continued teaching until
retirement. Barry was known for his fine sense of humour and his
political cartoon sketches which were published in the "Soo This
Week", "Northern Life," and "Business This Week." Barry also belonged
to the Soo Barbershoppers. He will be missed by many.

Neil was an avid sportsman, he loved to hunt, fish and participate in
outdoor activities. He also enjoyed watching baseball and hockey.
Funeral service was held at the Culgin Funeral Home with Pastor Frank

officiating. Interment Grimesthorpe Cemetery.

MONTGOMERY
Bill MONTGOMERY, a resident of the Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay, for
the past year and formerly of Spring Bay and Big Lake, died at the
Mindemoya Hospital on Wednesday, September 26, 2001 at the age of 84
years. He was born in Campbell Township,
son of the late William and

MONTGOMERY.
Bill had served in the North Pacific
for the Canadian Army in WW2. He and Irene had farmed at Big Lake
for 42 years, as well as working at sawmills. He enjoyed gardening,
reading and reciting poetry, and especially liked to play cards.

September 28, 2001 at 11: 00 a.m. with Reverend Kim
GILLILAND officiating.
