Peacefully at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home on Thursday, March 22, 2001 Neil MONTGOMERY of Spring Bay in his 90th year. Loved husband of Jean MONTGOMERY. Dear father of Jennifer and her husband Bill ORFORD of Spring Bay. Loved grandfather of Angela and her husband James MOGGY, and Amanda ORFORD. Great-grandfather of Corrie and Cassie MOGGY. Brother of John MONTGOMERY and William and his wife Irene MONTGOMERY, Olive REID of Windsor, the late Colin MONTGOMERY and the late Gladys PIERCE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Neil was an avid sportsman, he loved to hunt, fish and participate in outdoor activities. He also enjoyed watching baseball and hockey. Funeral service was held at the Culgin Funeral Home with Pastor Frank HANER officiating. Interment Grimesthorpe Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Culgin Funeral Home, Gore Bay.

Clyde Worthing VANZANT
In loving memory of Clyde Worthing VANZANT, December 2, 1927-July 3, 2001.
Clyde W. VANZANT, a resident of Manitowaning, died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current on Tuesday, July 3, 2001, at the age of 73 years. Clyde was born in Manitowaning, son of the late Jack and Mary MacDONALD) VANZANT. He worked as a miner with Inco and in Elliot Lake as well as farming for many years. Clyde also owned and operated Van's Drive Inn Restaurant in Manitowaning for 14 years. Clyde was involved in the community softball and hardball leagues, Manitowaning Curling Club and Manitowaning Board of Trade for 15 years. His favourite pastime was hunting and fishing with family and Friends.
Beloved husband of Karen {BAYER} VANZANT of Manitowaning. Dear father of Denise Moggy (husband Gene) of Manitowaning, Shelly BOND (husband Peter) of Petawawa. Dear grandfather of Christopher BOND, Alex and Nicole MOGGY. Survived by two brothers, Burk (wife Harriet) and Royce both of Manitowaning. Predeceased by two sisters, Nedra MARTIN and Bona LANG as well as two brothers Loyal and Glyn VANZANT. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held in the Manitowaning Chapel on Thursday, July 5 with Pastor Wally WOOD officiating. At Clyde's request there will be no visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Manitowaning Chapel Funeral Home, Manitowaning.

Reola Mae McMURRAY
In loving memory of Reola Mae McMURRAY, August 5 1944-December 1 2001.
Reola McMURRAY, a resident of Mindemoya, died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Saturday, December 1, 2001 at the age of 57 years. She was born at Manitowaning, daughter of the late Leonard and Marjorie {BRYANT} MOGGY. On September 15, 1962, she married Kenneth McMURRAY, who predeceased her November 4, 1976. Reola was a member of the Stamp Club, the Manitowaning Choir, and spent much time being a hockey and figure skating mom, as well as quilting and crocheting, reading books and interested in genealogy. Reola raised her young family on her own after the death of Kenneth, Her memory will be cherished by her children and grandchildren and other family members. Her presence in the community will be sadly missed.
Reola was predeceased by her husband Kenneth McMURRAY. Dearly loved mother and mother in law of Sheila and Ed McDERMID of Providence Bay Connie and Eugene MIRON of Chelmsford,Kim KELLY and Larry PEARCE of Sault Ste. Marie Tammy and Robert GARDINER of Lively and Chris and Jennifer McMURRAY of Ottawa. Proud grandmother of 11, Shannon, Marissa, Michael, Crystal, Victoria, Alanna, Anthony, Logan, Tyler, Riley and Kyla. Dear sister of Henry, Leonard, Calvin, Dennis, Lyman, Marvin, Robbie, Donny, Jamie, Mabel, Blossom and Ruby. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and their families. Predeceased by son Kenneth Jr., Mina and brother Nelson. Friends called the Mindemoya United Church on Monday. The funeral
service was held Tuesday with Reverend Mary Jo Eckert Tracy
officiating. Interment in the Hilly Grove Cemetery, Manitowaning.
