Neil was an avid sportsman, he loved to hunt, fish and participate in
outdoor activities. He also enjoyed watching baseball and hockey.
Funeral service was held at the Culgin Funeral Home with Pastor Frank
HANER
officiating. Interment Grimesthorpe Cemetery.

Clyde W. VANZANT, a resident of Manitowaning, died at the Manitoulin Health
Centre, Little Current on Tuesday, July 3, 2001, at the age of 73 years.
Clyde was born in Manitowaning,
son of the late Jack and Mary
MacDONALD)
VANZANT. He worked as a miner with Inco and
in Elliot Lake as well as
farming for many years. Clyde also owned and operated Van's Drive Inn
Restaurant in Manitowaning for 14 years. Clyde was involved in the community
softball and hardball leagues, Manitowaning Curling Club and Manitowaning
Board of Trade for 15 years. His favourite pastime was hunting and fishing
with family and Friends.

Funeral service was held in the Manitowaning Chapel on Thursday, July 5 with
Pastor Wally
WOOD officiating. At Clyde's request there will be no visitation.

Reola Mae McMURRAY

McMURRAY,
August 5 1944-December 1 2001.
Reola McMURRAY, a resident of Mindemoya, died at the Mindemoya Hospital on
Saturday, December 1, 2001 at the age of 57 years. She was born at
Manitowaning, daughter of the late Leonard and Marjorie
{BRYANT}
MOGGY.
On September 15, 1962, she married Kenneth
McMURRAY, who predeceased her
November 4, 1976. Reola was a member of the Stamp Club, the Manitowaning
Choir, and spent much time being a hockey and figure skating mom, as well
as quilting and crocheting, reading books and interested in genealogy.
Reola raised her young family on her own after the death of Kenneth,
Her memory will be cherished by her children and grandchildren and other
family members. Her presence in the community will be sadly missed.
Reola was predeceased by her husband Kenneth
McMURRAY.

Predeceased by son Kenneth Jr., Mina and brother Nelson.
Friends called the Mindemoya United Church on Monday. The funeral
service was held Tuesday with Reverend Mary Jo Eckert Tracy
officiating. Interment in the Hilly Grove Cemetery, Manitowaning.
