Fredirick "Fred" KELLER
In loving memory of Fredrick "Fred" KELLER who passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2001 at Sudbury Regional Hospital at the age of 88 years.
Beloved husband of Berdina Lily {MORTON} KELLER of Mindemoya. Loving father of Morris (wife Wilhamine) of Mindemoya, dear grandfather of Kirk (wife Carol) of Winfield Alberta, Perry (wife Lois) of Mindemoya and Scott (wife Daphne) of Mindemoya. Dear great grandfather of Shane, Kristopher, Katherine, Terri, Lindsay, Ryan, Kolby, Kelsie and Dylan. Dear brother of Keith (wife Sue) of Queenston, predeceased by Elmer, Carl, Beatrice, Myrtle and Bernie. At Fred's request there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation. Arrangement entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.

James John CHERESKI
In loving memory of James John CHERESKI from December 13, 1940 to September 21, 2001.
James CHERESKI, a resident of West Hartford, Connecticut and of Kelly's Rd., Mindemoya, died suddenly at the Mindemoya Hospital on Friday, September 21, 2001 at the age of 60 years. He was born in Northampton , Massachusetts, son of the late Edward CHERESKI and Regina {CHAMBERLAIN} CHERESKI. James worked as a telephone technician for Southern New England Telephone Co. until his retirement and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage on Lake Manitou, and fishing. James is survived by his loving mother Regina CHERESKI of Northampton, Massachusetts: his friend of 35 years, Jim KELLEY and a number of cousins and relatives. There will be no visitation or service. Cremation. Culgin Funeral Home.

POLLOCK, Kenneth 'Ken' William
In loving memory of Kenneth 'Ken' William POLLOCK 75 years, who passed away Wednesday evening, January 3rd, 2001 at the Extendicare Falconbridge. Born in Sudbury, where he married in 1973 to Margaret his best friend and soul mate. He worked in the Maintenance Department at Inco for 40 years retiring in 1982. He served overseas with the Canadian Army during World War II. Ken was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 76, Sudbury, a member of Friendship Lodge #691 AF and AM and Chapter Rose Croix Valley of Sault Ste. Marie. Beloved husband of the late Lenore {ZINN} POLLOCK (predeceased 1970) and Margaret Emily {MacDONALD} POLLOCK of Garson. Loving father of Penelope 'Penny' of Pembroke, Thomas (wife Jane) of Barrie, Glenn (Nancy) of Terrace, B.C., and Timothy (wife April) of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear grandfather of Shelby, Emily, Jeffrey and Katrina. Dear son of the late Alexander and Ellen POLLOCK both predeceased. Dear brother of Gerald of Sudbury, Doris BARRY of Bolton and the late Jack, Margaret KELLY, Sandy, Ruby HARKNESS, Vivian McADAM, Mary MAGILL, Donald and Kathleen BISCHOFF all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by the MacDONALD family. Resting at the Jackson and barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Friday, January 5th, 2001 at 3 pm. Interment in the Civic Cemetery.

Veronika Eleanor KELLY
In loving memory of Veronica Eleanor KELLY (née McGREGOR) who passed away Thursday, January 25, 2001 at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current at the age of 63 years.
Dear daughter of the late William and Julia {RECOLLET} McGREGOR both predeceased. Beloved mother of Gregory (wife Linda) of Barrie. Dear grandmother of Somer, Cody, Tyson and Jared. Veronica is also survived by three brothers: Arthur (wife Violet), George, Murray (wife Marion) all of Birch Island and one sister Genevieve of Hamilton. She was also predeceased by six sisters. Lovingly remembered by 29 nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Birch Island Community Centre, Birch Island, Ontario. Funeral Mass was in the Church of St.Gabriel Lalemont, Monday, January 29, 2001 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment in the Birch Island Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.

Reola Mae McMURRAY
In loving memory of Reola Mae McMURRAY, August 5 1944-December 1 2001.
Reola McMURRAY, a resident of Mindemoya, died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Saturday, December 1, 2001 at the age of 57 years. She was born at Manitowaning, daughter of the late Leonard and Marjorie {BRYANT} MOGGY. On September 15, 1962, she married Kenneth McMURRAY, who predeceased her November 4, 1976. Reola was a member of the Stamp Club, the Manitowaning Choir, and spent much time being a hockey and figure skating mom, as well as quilting and crocheting, reading books and interested in genealogy. Reola raised her young family on her own after the death of Kenneth, Her memory will be cherished by her children and grandchildren and other family members. Her presence in the community will be sadly missed.
Reola was predeceased by her husband Kenneth McMURRAY. Dearly loved mother and mother in law of Sheila and Ed McDERMID of Providence Bay Connie and Eugene MIRON of Chelmsford,Kim KELLY and Larry PEARCE of Sault Ste. Marie Tammy and Robert GARDINER of Lively and Chris and Jennifer McMURRAY of Ottawa. Proud grandmother of 11, Shannon, Marissa, Michael, Crystal, Victoria, Alanna, Anthony, Logan, Tyler, Riley and Kyla. Dear sister of Henry, Leonard, Calvin, Dennis, Lyman, Marvin, Robbie, Donny, Jamie, Mabel, Blossom and Ruby. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and their families. Predeceased by son Kenneth Jr., Mina and brother Nelson. Friends called the Mindemoya United Church on Monday. The funeral
service was held Tuesday with Reverend Mary Jo Eckert Tracy
officiating. Interment in the Hilly Grove Cemetery, Manitowaning.
