June 22, 2001 at her home.
Beloved wife of David Jacko (predeceases 1981), Loving mother of Arthur
(wife Annie predeceased), Marie, Ursula, Helen (husband Bernie), Rita
(husband Francis), Henry, Gloria (husband Gilbert), Lawrence (wife Isabel),
Rose (husband Gary), Vernon predeceased, Betty (husband Frank), and Cecil.
Dear grandmother of 73 grandchildren, 109 great grandchildren and 10 great
great grandchildren. Dear sister of Lena of London, Henry and Frank both
predeceased.
Funeral Mass was held at the Holy Cross Mission in Wikwemikong, Tuesday June
26, 2001 at 11 a.m. Interment at the Wikwemikong Cemetery. Friends called
at the Holy Cross Mission after 2 p.m. Sunday.

January 20, 1915-May 16, 2001.
Sadie CARLISLE, a resident of Extendicare Falconbridge, Sudbury, died at her
residence on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at the age of 86 years. She was born at
Hillsburgh, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman
JACKSON.
Sadie and
Willard had lived in Mindemoya from 1946-1998, where they were both active
in the Missionary Church, and were instrumental in the building of the church.
Sadie enjoyed playing the piano, and kept very busy with such activities as
baking bread and selling it to tourists, keeper of Pirates Cove for a number
of years, and owning Jiffy Lunch. She also did beautiful knitting and
crocheting.
Sadie's beloved husband, Willard predeceased on April 12, 2001. Dearly loved
mother and mother-in-law of Wayne and Jerry
CARLISLE of Sudbury, Gary and
Jacquie CARLISLE of North Bay and Colleen and Keith
SPRY of British
Columbia. Proud and loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 7 great

KLOETSTRA officiating. Interment in Mindemoya Cemetery.

NIEMI wish to announce her passing on
Thursday January 4th, 2001 age 96 at the Pioneer Manor, Sudbury.
Born in 1904 in Simo, Finland she was the first child of 16 for her
parents Pekka and Hulda
HALLIKAINEN.
The family emigrated to Canada
in 1909 and resided in Crean Hill and area. In her teen years Eini
moved to Creighton, Copper Cliff and finally to Sudbury to work.
Eini was a long time member of the Loyal Finns of Canada (Sampo
Hall) and the Treasurer of the Ladies Aid Group of St. Matthew’s
Lutheran
Church for over 30 years. Married to Nestor
NIEMI
(predeceased in 1962,) Eini was the mother of two, George
NIEMI
(wife Annette) of Sudbury and Elsie
JACOBSON of Walden. She was the
proud Mumma of four grandchildren, Shelly (husband Sean) of Kelowna
B.C., Dana (husband Andi) of Orangeville, Darren (wife Natalie) of
Lively, and Neil (wife Michelle) of Sudbury. She was the Isomumma of
two great grandchildren, Christian and Page. Eini is survived by
