In loving memory of Marlene HOWARD on Tuesday, January 23, 2001, age 50 years. Survived by loving mother Mary TAILOR/TAYLOR of Little Current. Remembered by husband Lawrence HOWARD. Dear mother to Wanda DISLEY and Larry of Little Current, Dwayne and Heidi of Little Current , Rob of Toronto, Christine TAILOR/TAYLOR of Little Current and Tanya TAILOR/TAYLOR of Little Current. Dear grandmother of Caitlyn, Natasha, Nathan and Tyler. Dear sister of Kim GIBSON (Neil ANDERSON,) Michael and Lindsay TAILOR/TAYLOR (both predeceased,) also by brother-in-law Arnie GIBSON. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held on Saturday, January 27, 2001 with Reverend Richard White officiating. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Island Funeral Home, Little Current.

Alexander LYON McKENZIE
In loving memory of Alexander LYON McKENZIE, June 15, 1920-September 14, Sandy McKENZIE, a resident of Sault Ste. Marie, died at the Great Northern Retirement Home on Friday, September 14, 2001 at the age of 81 years. He was born in Gore Bay, son of the late Jack and Evelyn {PURVIS} McKENZIE. Sandy had worked at the Gore Bay airport, then was transferred to the Sault Ste. Marie Airport where he worked until his retirement in 1977. His greatest pleasure was listening to music, and he enjoyed a wide variety. In his younger years, he liked to hunt. Sandy was predeceased by his beloved wife Norine {HARTLEY} McKENZIE. Loving and loved father of Jane HOWARD (husband William George predeceased 1977) of Little Current. Proud grandfather of Vicki and Shawn. Dear brother of Doris (Sis) WHITE/WHYTE (husband Charlie predeceased) of Gore Bay and Ken McKENZIE of Gilford Conn. Predeceased by brother Jack and sisters Sally and Wilda. Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, September 17, 2001. The funeral services was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel at 11: 00 a.m. with Reverend Linda White officiating. Cremation to follow.
