MONTGOMERY
Bill MONTGOMERY, a resident of the Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay, for
the past year and formerly of Spring Bay and Big Lake, died at the
Mindemoya Hospital on Wednesday, September 26, 2001 at the age of 84
years. He was born in Campbell Township,
son of the late William and
Annie

Bill▼ had served in the North Pacific
for the Canadian Army in WW2. He and Irene had farmed at Big Lake
for 42 years, as well as working at sawmills. He enjoyed gardening,
reading and reciting poetry, and especially liked to play cards.

September▼ 28, 2001 at 11: 00 a.m. with Reverend Kim
GILLILAND officiating.
Interment was held in Grimsthorpe Cemetery. Culgin Funeral Home

Pete will be remembered as a loving and loyal husband and father. We will
remember his sense of humour and spirit. Pete has touched and befriended so
many people. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion and Lions
Club.
His final resting place will be at Smuck's Cemetery in Bayham Twp. In
accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. We
would like you to remember Pete in your own way.
We will remember him always. Thank you four your caring support.
