In loving memory of Marlene HOWARD, Tuesday, January 23, 2001 at the age of 50 years.
Survived by loving mother Mary TAILOR/TAYLOR of Little Current. Remembered by husband Lawrence HOWARD. Dear mother to Wanda DISLEY and Larry of Little Current, Dwayne and Heidi of Little Current, Rob of Toronto, Christine TAILOR/TAYLOR of Little Current and Tanya TAILOR/TAYLOR of Little Current. Dear grandmother of Caitlyn, Natasha, Nathan and Tyler. Dear sister of Janet FOX (husband Bruce,) Kim GIBSON (Neil ANDERSON,) Michael and Lindsay TAILOR/TAYLOR (both predeceased) also by brother in law Arnie GIBSON. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service was on Saturday, January 27, 2001 with Reverend Richard White officiating. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Loving son of Joseph and Mary FOX, both predeceased. Dear brother of
Victoria JACKO, Lena RIVERS, Elaine RIVERS. Predeceased by Helen RIVERS, Henry FOX, George RIVERS (FOX), Rainy RIVERS and Arthur RIVERS. Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Rested at the St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah. Funeral Mass was held in the church Saturday, March 17, 2001. Interment in the Buzwah Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Jackson and Barnard Funeral Chapel, Sudbury.

Johnny Malcolm DEBASSIGE
In loving memory of Johnny Malcolm DEBASSIGE, February 13, 1918 - April 29, Johnny DEBASSIGE, a resident of Gore Bay, and formerly of M'Chigeeng, died at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, St. Joseph's Site, on Sunday, April 29, 2001 at the age of 83 years. He was born at M'Chigeeng, son of the late Joseph P. and Mary DEBASSIGE. John had worked as a carpenter. He had served overseas in WW2, and was there when Holland was liberated. He enjoyed watching hockey and baseball and playing musical instruments. He took great pride in his family, and in particular was interested in the activities of the grand and great grandchildren. John was predeceased by his wife Florence {VINCENT} DEBASSIGE in 1984.
Loving father of Myrna HILDEBRAND (husband Greg predeceased) of Goderich Dorothy FOX (husband Edward) of Wikwemikong, Malcolm DEBASSIGE (wife Helen) of Restoule and Jimmy SHAWONGONABE (wife Colleen) of Williamsburg. Predeceased by son Boniface and chosen son Ambrose and grand_son Josh. Proud Mishoomis of Kim, Sheila, James, Blair, Donna, Jennifer, Jeanette, Diane, Jennifer, Ashley and Kerry and great Mishoomis of Thomas, Tanya, Sabrina, R.J., Brady, Caitlin, Adrienne and Hannah. Dear brother of Vincent of M' Chigeeng. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Lazare, Lawrence, Wilfred, Jimmy and Dan and sisters Elizabeth,
Philomene, Clara, Catherine and Adeline.
Friends called the M'Chigeeng Complex on Monday and Tuesday. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, M'Chigeeng on Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at 11: 00 a.m. with Fr. Bert Foliot as celebrant. Interment in M'Chigeeng Cemetery. Culgin Funeral Home

Beloved wife of David Jacko (predeceases 1981), Loving mother of Arthur (wife Annie predeceased), Marie, Ursula, Helen (husband Bernie), Rita (husband Francis), Henry, Gloria (husband Gilbert), Lawrence (wife Isabel), Rose (husband Gary), Vernon predeceased, Betty (husband Frank), and Cecil. Dear grandmother of 73 grandchildren, 109 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Lena of London, Henry and Frank both predeceased. Funeral Mass was held at the Holy Cross Mission in Wikwemikong, Tuesday June 26, 2001 at 11 a.m. Interment at the Wikwemikong Cemetery. Friends called at the Holy Cross Mission after 2 p.m. Sunday.
