In loving memory of Florence OSAWAMICK, August 1, 1926-February 11, 2001.
Florence OSAWAMICK, a resident of Wikwemikong, passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current, on Sunday, February 11, 2001 at the age of 74 years. Florence was born in Wikwemikong, daughter of the late John S. and Nancy {SHIGWADJA} NAGANIGWANE. She worked as a cook at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home and was a member of Anishnaabemowin Teg. Florence enjoyed knitting, crafts, gardening and attending Pow Wows and cooking for her family.
Beloved wife of John OSAWAMICK of Wikwemikong. Loving mother of Barbara (Tom), Martina (Len), Stan, Gert (Max), Bev (Louis), Ann Marie (Patrick), Lilly (Paul), Joseph (Clara), Darlene (Randy), Elizabeth (Gerard). Predeceased by two children Jean and Johnny. Proud and loving grandmother of 45 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Dear sister of James (predeceased) wife Celina, Lavina (predeceased) husband John LEWIS, Eva CYWINK (husband Nick predeceased,) Jerome (predeceased) wife Theola, Agnes WEBKAMIGAD husband Henry, Shirley WILLIAMS, Isadore wife Verna and Rosella KINOSHAMEG husband James all of Wikwemikong. Also survived by her uncle Hector SHIGWADJA and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at St. Anthony Daniel Church, Kaboni after 12 pm on Monday February 12, 2001. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 14, 2001 from Holy Cross Church at 11 am. with Father Bert FOLIOT as celebrant. Interment in Wikwemikong Cemetery.

Kelly Shawn ROY In Loving Memory of Kelly Shawn ROY, February 1, 1971 - June 2, 2001
Shawn ROY, a resident of Ottawa, passed away at Montreal P.Q. at the age of 30 years. He was born in Sudbury, and for the 12 years had been employed as a computer analyst, working for the Department of National Defence. Shawn had many interests and hobbies, including roller blading, bicycling, travelling and computers. Shawn was an extremely talented computer analyst, and took great pride in his abilities. He was a loving son and brother. Shawn was loved very much by his family and Friends, and his presence will be sadly missed. Dearly loved son of Pius and Evelyn (TRUDEAU) ROY of M'Chigeeng, dear and loving brother of Linda Lewis (Billy) of Sault Ste. Marie, Wayne Roy (Kayla) of Sudbury, Roger ROY of M'Chigeeng, Randy ROY (Tracy) of Toronto and Caroline TRUDEAU of Sudbury. Predeceased by brother Allan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and many Friends in the Ottawa area. Friends may call at the M'Chigeeng Complex on Tuesday and Wednesday. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church on Thursday June 28, 2001 at 11 a.m. with Father Bert FOLIOT as celebrant. Interment in M' Chigeeng Cemetery. In loving memory of Bruce Joseph COOPER of Espanola, who passed away at Sudbury Regional Hospital, St. Joseph's Health Centre on Friday, April 13, 2001 at the age of 37.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth (née FOLSTER) of Espanola. Loving son of Mrs. Violet COOPER of Espanola and the late Clarence COOPER. Very dear brother of Mrs. Linda HAMEL of Wawa, Joan (Mrs. Lionel McCAULEY) of Espanola, Betty (Mrs. Richard GUAY) of Verner, Flora (Mrs. Wilfred TREMBLAY) of Lively, Nancy (Mrs. Edmond TREMBLAY) of Espanola, Mike (wife Jane) of Little Current, Mrs. Rose-Marie BENSLER of Kitchener and the late Mark COOPER. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends called the Bourcier Funeral Home, Espanola on Monday, April 16 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass was held at the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Espanola on Tuesday, April 17 at 10: 00am with Father Al McMillan officiating. Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery, Little Current.

Alma Beryl NOBLE
In loving memory of Alma NOBLE, a resident of Gore Bay and formerly of Elliot Lake and Silver Water, died at the Manitoulin Lodge on Saturday, July 21, 2001 at the age of 85 years.
He was born in Robinson Township, June 17, 1916, son of the late Harry and Bertha {STEELE} NOBLE. Alma had served overseas in the armed forces for four years, with the 'Happy Walkers.' He had worked in fisheries, steel plant and worked in the bush lumbering. He had a variety of interests, including gardening, crafts, carpentry, wood lathe and hunting and fishing. Alma's greatest love was his family, and spending time with them. His love and love of life will be sadly missed but many memories will be cherished. Dear loved husband of Dorine {FOWLER} NOBLE, loving father of Lorraine ROBINSON of Vancouver and son-in-law Chris ROBINSON of Gore Bay, Florence and her husband David FOLZ of Elliot Lake and Lloyd NOBLE and his wife Debbie of Prince George, BC. Loved grandfather of Jennifer, Tyler, Doryell, Wyatt, Nicholas, Angela and Steven, and great-grandchildren Jordan, Jolisa, Kayla, Emily and Noah. Dear brother of Ruby WHITELY of Los Angeles. Predeceased by brothers Golden, Garnet and Jasper and sisters Opal and Madeline. Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home. The funeral service was held in the Wm. G.
