HOPKIN,
December 5, 1914 - September 8, 2001.
Frank HOPKIN, a resident of Spring Bay, died at the Mindemoya
Hospital on Saturday, September 8, 2001 at the age of 86 years.
He was born at Tehkummah,
son of the late James and Alice
{COOPER}
HOPKIN.
Frank had worked in logging and at factories in Toronto,
where he met and married Amy in 1944, returning to Manitoulin to farm
for 25 years, retiring to Spring Bay in 1974. He loved to farm,
garden, walk and bike ride, and had served on the Co-Op Board of
Directors. Frank was a quiet man, and will be sadly missed by family
and his community.

A Memorial Funeral service was conducted at Salem Missionary Church
on Monday, September 10, 2001 at 11: 00 a.m. with Reverend Richard
Williams officiating. Cremation.
