Gordon MacKENZIE CATCHPOLE
In loving memory of Gordon (MacKENZIE) of Nanticoke, at the Norfolk General Hospital on February 23, 2001 at the age of 78 years.
Husband of Barbara {BREDIN} CATCHPOLE of Welland. Dear father and father-in-law of Peter of Idaho, USA, Tim and Bonnie of Welland, Vicky and Ian CATCHPOLE/ PALMER of Royston, British Columbia, Mark and Valery of Toronto, Daniel CATCHPOLE and Martha (MARLEAU) of Ottawa and Susan and Russell JEPSON of Nanticoke.
Gordon will be sadly missed and remembered by his eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Survived by one sister, Betty and husband Desmond CLEMENT of Comox, British Columbia.
Gordon was employee of Nanticoke Generating Station for 17 and half years, was very active in his community and the area. He was a long-time volunteer with the Boy Scouts of Canada and also with the YMCA. He was a strong believer in giving of himself to those who were in need, and will be remembered by all who knew him for his generosity and kindness. Gordon also was fortunate to have a beautiful voice of song and sang at many weddings and functions. His love and talent of boat building gave him many, many hours of pleasure, as he was an avid boater. Mr. CATCHPOLE was at the Thompson Waters Funeral Home, Port Dover, visitation was on Sunday and a Funeral Service will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be kindly acknowledged by the family and can be done by calling Thompson Waters Funeral Home 1-519-583-1530.

Lloyd James LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH
In loving memory of Lloyd James LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH who passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 1, 2001, age 63.
Lloyd was in the Air Force for 7 years, worked for General Motors and from 1967 to 1986 he worked as an Identification Officer for the Sault Ste. Marie City Police.
Beloved husband of Eva. Dear father of Marnie BOISSONEAU of North Bay. Dear Pappa of Devin and Sasha. Chosen Pappa of Catherine ANICH, Josephine (Mark) SPRINGBETT, Joseph (Monica) ANICH, Dorothy Rose (Ron) McQUEEN, Janice ANICH- MacKIE (Herb), Andy (Sandra) ANICH and Bessie SHARPE. Grandchildren: Lisa, Danny and Michelle GUISE, Robbie CLEMENT, Vicky SPRINGBETT, Crystal
and April ANICH, Christian McQUEEN, Sarah and Andrea ANICH, Allyson SHARPE
and 9 great grandchildren. Loved son of Johanna LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH- RUSH of Little Current. Predeceased by father Everett LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH. Will be missed by brothers and sisters, Eva and Ray LOGAN, Joan (late Colin "Bomber" STREICH,) late Norma (Mervin SINNOSI and friend Linda,) John (Elaine) LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH, David (Esther) LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH, Sandra (Bill KEATLEY) and George (Sharon) LEACH/LEECH/LEITCH. Remembered with love by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held Tuesday, April 3, 2001 at Island Funeral Home officiated by Reverend AJ Nesseth. Cremation, burial in Hilly Grove Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to Island Funeral Home, Little Current.

Clara Dale PEEVER
In loving memory of Clara Dale, September 17 1935-February 25 2001.
Clara Dale Ilett {CLERMONT} was born in Kapuskasing, Ontario. She graduated from North Bay Teachers College in 1955 and taught in several residential schools. On October 17 1959 she married J. Bain PEEVER, a theological student at McGill University.
After Bain was ordained Dale, Bain, Bruce and Allan moved to several parishes across Canada. She taught elementary school in Montreal and Mindemoya. Dale loved to cook, entertain, dance, sing and ride horses. She enjoyed reading, canoeing, knitting gardening and walking her dogs. Dale will be missed and her memory cherished by her loving husband, partner and best friend, the Reverend Canon J. Bain PEEVER (Mindemoya,) Bruce (Lincoln) and his fiance Gina EISLER, Dr. Allan and his wife Dr. Morag MASKERY (Stratford,) brother Gerry (Kate) CLERMONT (Westbank, British Columbia,) mother-in-law Olga (Paul) REBIN (North Bay,) sister-in-law Dawn CLARKE (North Bay) and her nieces and nephews.
In 1991, Dale was diagnosed with Pick's Disease. She spent her last few years receiving exceptional care at Manitoulin Centennial Manor. The staff and other residents loved Dale.
Friends and family called at St. Francis of Assisi Anglican Church in Mindemoya February 28, 2001 prior to the service on Thursday. A requiem Eucharist celebrating and giving thanks for Dale's life will be held on Thursday. The Right Reverend Derwyn JONES, retired Bishop of Huron will officiate.
Former parishioners and Friends in the London, Ontario area attended a memorial Eucharist at Church of Saint John the Evangelist in London on March 1 2001. Arrangements entrusted to Culgin Funeral Home.
