James John CHERESKI
In loving memory of James John CHERESKI from December 13, 1940 to September 21, 2001.
James CHERESKI, a resident of West Hartford, Connecticut and of Kelly's Rd., Mindemoya, died suddenly at the Mindemoya Hospital on Friday, September 21, 2001 at the age of 60 years. He was born in Northampton , Massachusetts, son of the late Edward CHERESKI and Regina {CHAMBERLAIN} CHERESKI. James worked as a telephone technician for Southern New England Telephone Co. until his retirement and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage on Lake Manitou, and fishing. James is survived by his loving mother Regina CHERESKI of Northampton, Massachusetts: his friend of 35 years, Jim KELLEY and a number of cousins and relatives. There will be no visitation or service. Cremation. Culgin Funeral Home.

Della Grace SMELTZER
Della Grace SMELTZER born at Tehkummah, Manitoulin Island, Ontario, August 19, 1912, passed away peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital, July 10, 2001.
Predeceased by her brother Edward SMELTZER, half-sister Marion READMAN and nephew Edward SMELTZER Jr. Lovingly remembered by her sister Lillian SMELTZER, Jamel CHAPMAN, brother-in-law Harvey READMAN, nieces Dana (Edward) ZINSER, Ann Marie (Reuben) NEUMAN and Deborah (Kenneth) WATKIS, and great-nephews Bradley and Gregory ZINSER and great-niece Emily (James) Owens. Special thanks to Dr. Daniel Buie and to the nursing staff of the Eric Martin Pavilion for their exceptional care and kindness. Interment at Royal Oak Burial Park with a private graveside service. Arrangements entrusted to Sands Funeral Chapel, Victoria, British Columbia.

Lottie Emma (MOORE) CHAPMAN
Lottie Emma CHAPMAN died Monday August 28, 2001 in her 96th year.
She was born in Lion's Head, Ont. January 24, 1906, the eldest daughter of the late Whitford B. MOORE and Emma LYMBURNER.
She was predeceased by her husband William I. CHAPMAN of South Baymouth in 1963 and by her daughter Helen, Mrs. Trevor McMORRIS in 1978. Also by both sisters, Gertrude, Mrs. J.E. DEAN, and Donna MOORE. Surviving to mourn her death, her daughter Jeanette FEW and husband Fred of Little Current with whom she made her home. Also her grandchildren Emily GEROUX (husband Marty,) Jo-ann SMITH (husband Steve,) Jeanette HUGHES (husband Ernie) and Robert LAUER and his wife Bonnie.
She enjoyed her great-grandchildren Tiffany GEROUX, Stephanie and Jeffrey SMITH, and Samantha and Matthew LAUER.
She will be missed by nieces and nephews and a wide circle of Friends and relations acquired over a long and active life.
At her request, cremation will be followed by a memorial service in
Saint John's Anglican Church, South Bay and interment of her ashes in
Hilly Grove Cemetery - the time and date to be announced later.

Lottie Emma CHAPMAN died Tuesday August 28, 2001 in her 96th year.

The family announces with sorrow his death, Monday, January 1st, 2001, at Extendicare Falconbridge, Sudbury, at the age of 75 years.
son of the late Wilfrid CHARBONNEAU and of the late Dora CHARBONNEAU (née LADEROUTE.) Husband of Lena CHARBONNEAU (née CHARRON) of Garson. Loving father of Lawrence (wife Paulette) of Skead. Dear brother of Jos and the late Alma of Capreol, George deceased, wife Grace of Garson, Omer deceased, Simone deceased, Oscar deceased wife Jane of Hanmer, Mae KARL husband Fred of Hagersville, Ontario, Isabelle LEDUC husband Albert both deceased, Roger (Pete) wife Marion both deceased, Armand wife Ida of Bobcaygeon and Aimé deceased, wife Bonnie of Oakville, Ontario. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Lise ENGSTROM (husband Gordon), Liane Foreman (husband James) both of Falconbridge and by his great grandchildren Christopher, Ryan, Joshua, Jesse and Jacob. Predeceased by one granddaughter Nicole. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. CHARBONNEAU was born in Blind River and raised in Gogama and moved to Skead. He worked at Poupoure Lumber Company, Nickel Rim Mine, Garson Mine and INCO. Léo also worked for Ministry of Natural Resources as a cook and as a fire guard at McConnell Tower north of Lake Wahnapitae. He then moved to Toronto and removed to Sudbury, in 1989. Mr. CHARBONNEAU loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and trapping. He was an accomplished musician. He loved playing his banjo and singing. Léo enjoyed his life to the fullest.

Maizie Elizabeth A. (SAGLE) CASE
In loving memory of Maizie Elizabeth A. (SAGLE) CASE, a resident of Assiginack Township, who died at the Sudbury Regional - St. Joseph's Site on Sunday May 20, 2001, at the age of 70 years.
She was born in Assiginack Township, daughter of the late Harvey and Lucy {COE} SAGLE. Maizie worked as a camp cook for over 30 years. She enjoyed a good game of cards, hunting and being outdoors. Her greatest joy was her family and Friends.
Beloved wife of the late Wilfred S. CASE (predeceased 1999.) Survived by her children Roberta CRESS (Husband Larry), Robert (wife Sharon) both of Tehkummah and daughter in law Lori CASE of Manitowaning.
Predeceased by one son James (1999), Dear grandmother of Brent (wife Pam), Jeff (wife Heather), Trevor (wife Lynn), Luke (Tanya), Matthew (wife Leanne,) Christy (fiance Mike,) Mandy, Becky, Scott and Brock CASE. Predeceased by one grandchild Misty. Great grandmother of Zackory and Damien. Dear sister of Leland (wife Eleanor,) Faye CHATWELL (husband Raymond,) Marilyn SPARHAM (husband Wayne,) all of Tehkummah, Andrew (wife Janet) of Val Caron and sister in law Joan SAGLE of Tehkummah.
