Dougald MAGOON
Long-time summer resident of McGregor Bay, Dougald
MAGOON, passed away
November 13, 2000 after a long illness. He first came to the Bay in 1946,
with his parents Wallace and Iris
MAGOON.
After exploring the area camping
and canoeing, the family purchased two islands. In 1948, Dougald's island
home was built by his paternal grandparents. Dougald spent his vacations
here for 54 years.

Dorothy MERRYLEES, a resident of Bayside Apartments, died at the Mindemoya
Hospital, on Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at the age of 86 years. She was born in
Burpee Township, daughter of the late Albert and Sarah
{BAILEY}
CAMPBELL.
Dorothy had a wide variety of interests, including reading and travelling,
and in particular loved to visit with family and relatives.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Cecil

The funeral service was conducted at the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on Wednesday,
May 16 with Reverend Bonnie
BURNETT officiating. Interment in Gordon Cemetery.
