Idena (née BRYAN) MORGAN
84 years. Passed away on June 15, 2001 at Country Village Nursing Home in Woodslee, Ontario.
Formerly of Windsor. Predeceased by her husband Reginald (1970) and long-time companion Archie Vaughan (2000).
Loving mother of Betty and husband Eddie SIMPSON of Windsor and Michael and his wife Sandra MORGAN of Manitoulin Island. Dear grandmother to David and wife Maggie SIMPSON, Kathy and husband Michael WARNER and Bryan MORGAN. Dear sister to John and wife Phyllis BRYAN of Manitoulin Island and Gordon BRYAN and Fern ROSSI of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brother Roy and his wife Jean BRYAN. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Idena will be sadly missed by Gail and husband Jim CAMPBELL and Renee and husband Eloi RILETT.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 19, 2001 at 11: 00 am in the chapel at the Anderson Funeral Home, 895 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor, Ontario. Rev. Olav KITCHEN officiated. Interment was held at Victoria Memorial Gardens.

Predeceased by John Fredrick CONNOR, Beulah and husband Lawrence HUGHSON, Olive and husband Wilbert MOORE. Remembered with love by many nieces and nephews. Visitation was Tuesday, May 8, 2001. Funeral Service to be held Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at Island Funeral Home with Elder Madeline CHARLTON officiating. Burial in Elm View Cemetery.

Christena Aileen JOHNSTON, September 19, 1910-September 2, 2001.
Christena JOHNSTON, a resident of Manitowaning, passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current, on Sunday, September 2, 2001 at the age of 90 years. She was born at Grimsthorpe, daughter of the late John and Arabella {LOUGHEED} McMILLAN. She had worked as a Registered Nursing Assistant. Christena enjoyed knitting, playing cards, and bingo. Predeceased by her loving husband John JOHNSTON in 1969. Loving and loved mother of Jacqueline and Jim BRYANT of Manitowaning and Vernon and Pauline JOHNSTON also of Manitowaning. Proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Erma McALLISTER of Spring Bay and Doris WEBB of Gore Bay. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter Naomi and her husband Michael MORRISON and brothers Harold and Tommy.
The funeral service was conducted at the Manitowaning Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 4 with Reverend Frank Haner officiating. Interment in Grimsthorpe Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Manitowaning Chapel Funeral Home.

Beloved husband of Joan (née BRYANT) of Sudbury.
Dear father of Christopher (predeceased), Jodi and friend Mark of Kingston. Will be missed by brothers and sisters: John (predeceased), Andy (predeceased) and first wife Shirley (predeceased). Survived by wife Donna, Reuben and Jeneen of Sandfield, Tom and Janice of Mindemoya, Margaret and Bill CASE of Sandfield, Elva and Keith McGAULEY of Green Bush, Lennie and Linda of Lively. Remembered with love by many nieces and nephews. Visitation was on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service was held at 2: 00 p.m., Monday September 17, 2001 at Island Funeral Home in Little Current, Ontario. Burial to take place at Hilly Grove Cemetery.

Ida Mae {CONNOR} BRYANT
January 4, 1919-October 1, 2001.
Ida M. BRYANT, a resident of Manitowaning, passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Little Current, on Monday, October 1, 2001 at the age of 82 years. She was born in Sheguiandah Township, daughter of the late William and Annie {BRYANT} CONNOR. She worked at the Assiginack Museum and was the caretaker of Knox United Church for over 30 years. Ida was very active in the community as a member of the Friendship Club, Knox United Church, Agricultural and Horticultural Societies. She also enjoyed working in her flower gardens and visiting with her many Friends and family.
Predeceased by her loving husband James Henry BRYANT in 1983. Dear and loving mother of Jim and Jacqueline BRYANT of Manitowaning. Proud grandmother of 2 grandchildren Michael of Toronto and Catherine FRANTZ (husband Warren) of Sudbury and 2 great grandchildren Megan and Christena. Dear sister of Beulah HUGHSON, John, Lorne, Syd CONNOR and Olive MOORE all predeceased. Also predeceased by two brothers-in-law, Lawrence HUGHSON and Wilbert MOORE. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends called at the Manitowaning Chapel Funeral Home Tuesday October 2, 2001. The funeral service will be conducted from Knox United Church, Manitowaning on Wednesday, October 3, 2001 at 11: 00 a.m. with Pastor Wally WOOD officiating. Interment in Hilly Grove Cemetery. Reola Mae McMURRAY
In loving memory of Reola Mae McMURRAY, August 5 1944-December 1 2001.
Reola McMURRAY, a resident of Mindemoya, died at the Mindemoya Hospital on Saturday, December 1, 2001 at the age of 57 years. She was born at Manitowaning, daughter of the late Leonard and Marjorie {BRYANT} MOGGY. On September 15, 1962, she married Kenneth McMURRAY, who predeceased her November 4, 1976. Reola was a member of the Stamp Club, the Manitowaning Choir, and spent much time being a hockey and figure skating mom, as well as quilting and crocheting, reading books and interested in genealogy. Reola raised her young family on her own after the death of Kenneth, Her memory will be cherished by her children and grandchildren and other family members. Her presence in the community will be sadly missed.
Reola was predeceased by her husband Kenneth McMURRAY. Dearly loved mother and mother in law of Sheila and Ed McDERMID of Providence Bay Connie and Eugene MIRON of Chelmsford,Kim KELLY and Larry PEARCE of Sault Ste. Marie Tammy and Robert GARDINER of Lively and Chris and Jennifer McMURRAY of Ottawa. Proud grandmother of 11, Shannon, Marissa, Michael, Crystal, Victoria, Alanna, Anthony, Logan, Tyler, Riley and Kyla. Dear sister of Henry, Leonard, Calvin, Dennis, Lyman, Marvin, Robbie, Donny, Jamie, Mabel, Blossom and Ruby. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and their families. Predeceased by son Kenneth Jr., Mina and brother Nelson. Friends called the Mindemoya United Church on Monday. The funeral
service was held Tuesday with Reverend Mary Jo Eckert Tracy
officiating. Interment in the Hilly Grove Cemetery, Manitowaning.
