Dora Alice COLLAR
In loving memory of Dora Alice COLLAR, who passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at the Manitoulin Health Centre, age 79 years. Born in England on August 17, 1921, came to Canada at the age of three. Dora has been the organist at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church for many years. Predeceased by both husband Harrison Max COLLAR (1983) and daughter Ila Ruth LUOMA (1999.) Mother-in-law of Ray LUOMA of Little Current. Loved grandmother of Mark (Carol BRANDENBURG) PLEWES, Shane (Anita WOLLGAST) PLEWES and great grandchildren Colleen and Brittany and Zachary and Madison. Remembered by many dear Friends.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, July 14, 2001 at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Little Current, Ontario. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Island Funeral Home.

Catherine Mary Elizabeth BROWN
In loving memory of Catherine Mary Elizabeth BROWN, August 7 1915-May 1 2001.
Catherine BROWN, a resident of the Manitoulin Lodge, died at the St. Joseph's Health Centre, Sudbury, on Tuesday, May 1, 2001 at the age of 85 years. She was born at Ice Lake, daughter of the late Alfred and Catherine {KERR} BRANDOW. Catherine had been a school bus driver for many years. She was a member of the Ice Lake Church of Christ and the Ice Lake Women's Institute and enjoyed knitting. Catherine was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be sadly missed, but many memories will be shared with much love.
Catherine as predeceased by her first husband Alexander McDOUGALL in 1960. She later married Clarence BROWN who predeceased in 1998. Dearly loved mother of Eileen and husband Bill SLOAN of Gore Bay, Alfred McDOUGALL and his wife Dorothy of Naughton, Sandy McDOUGALL and his wife Elsie and Dennis McDOUGALL and his wife Dale all of Ice Lake, and Steve McDOUGALL and his wife Laurie of Espanola. Proud grandmother of Sherry, Pam, Tim, David, Chrisanne, Julia, Joanne, Jill, Charlie, Chad, Derick and Amanda and great grandchildren Matthew, Tyler, Christine, Amanda, Michael, Cory, Spencer, Logan, David, Miranda, Zachary, Morgan and Liam. Predeceased by a sister Laura.
The funeral service was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel with Pastor Les CRAMP officiating on Saturday, May 5, 2001. Interment in Gordon Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Strawberry Point Christian Camp or the Manitoulin Lodge Volunteers would be appreciated.
