daughter Jocelyne. Survived by Edward's sister, Helen and her husband Josef
Drong and Edward's brothers Jacob and Basil
FERTUCK, and sister-in-law Vera
FERTUCK.
Also survived by Margaret's brother Perry
ANGLIN and his wife
Aimée. Will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins and many
Friends.
A memorial service was held at Beaconsfield United Church, 202 Woodside
Road, Beaconsfield, Quebec, H9W 2P1, on Wednesday, May 23.

ANGLIN
Gertrude Pearl
ANGLIN of Kemptville and formerly of Ottawa passed away at
the Kemptville District Hospital on Sunday, July 1, 2001 at the age of 94.
Pearl was born on April 8,1907 in Sandfield Township. She was the daughter
of the late George and Elizabeth
TURNBULL (née
HARTRY.)
Pearl was raised on
the family farm beside White Lake at Snowville on Manitoulin Island. She
was the youngest of a family of eleven children. Pearl graduated from the
North Bay Normal School in 1926, and taught at Sandfield, Providence Bay and
Kagawong before marrying Wendell
ANGLIN in 1933. They were the last couple
to be married in the Snowville Presbyterian Church before it closed. Pearl
moved to Island Falls, north of Cochrane, Ontario where her husband worked
for the Abitibi Power and Paper Company at a hydro-electric generating
station on the Abitibi River. In 1953, Pearl returned to the Manitoulin to
teach at No. 2 School in Carnarvon Township for three years while her son
attended High School in Mindemoya. When her husband retired in 1962, she
moved to Cardiff, Ontario and then to Ottawa in 1985, to be near her family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Wendell
ANGLIN.
Loving mother of
Robert and his wife Barbara of Nepean. Loving grandmother of James and his
wife Shanley of Boston, John and his wife Rachel of Ottawa and David and his
wife Paula of Kingston. Great-grandmother of Amber, Jade and Tristan.
Predeceased by son Billy. A funeral service for the late Pearl
ANGLIN was
held on Saturday, July 14, 2001 at the Knox United Church, 25 Gibbard Ave.,
Nepean, at 2 pm. Interment of cremated remains will be held at the
Mindemoya Cemetery. Arrangements under the care and direction of Grant
Brown Funeral Home, Rolston Chapel, Kemptville at (613)258-2435.
