In specific answer to the query, neither volume of A. Dictionary of Scottish Emigrants to Canada Before Confederation has any DURAND/ DURRAND references. Although probably representing a different family, the name DURAND is well-known in the Hamilton area.
The Dictionary of Hamilton Biography refers to James DURAND (1775-1833), Member of the Legislature and Registrar of the Gore District, who was born in Wales. His daughter
Harriet DURRAND (married 1802-1856), wife of Peter Hunter HAMILTON is buried in the Hamilton Cemetery.
As for the family mentioned in the query, Alexander DURRANT, age 71, born Scotland, a cooper, appears in the index to the 1871 census for the Town of Dundas, not far from Hamilton. Alexander DURRAND of Hamilton, cooper, served as bondsman in connection with the 1834 marriage of Walter BLACKHALL to Catherine PELKENTON. Of possible interested is a gravestone in the Hamilton Cemetery [no dates given] for one Alexander DURRAND and wife Adeline TALLMAN. Finally, the marriage of the couple in the query is contained in the marriage register of Knox Presb Church at hamilton : Alexander DURAND and Mary MOFFAT, both of Hamilton, married 7 Oct 1836, by banns, witnesses : Frederic SUTER and Thomas ROLPH, both of Ancaster.

The LUNDY Family by William C. ARMSTRONG (1902) gives an excellent account for most branches of this prolific Quaker family who came to Ontario. Unfortunately, for Jeremiah LUNDY (1780-1856) of Scott twp, there is only the statement that he had 2 children by his first wife, Jerusha STEVENS and several children by second wife Rebecca CROSSLEY.
Perhaps all that can ever be done to identify these children is by the process of elimination, considering the members of the LUNDY family who are not known to fit elsewhere.
1. Jerusha LUNDY research done decades ago by a researcher of the HUGHES family (also Quaker) shows that Eli HUGHES (b.1812) was m. to Jerusha LUNDY, who very likely could be named for her mother. Eli may have died in Collingwood in 1862.
2. Nathaniel LUNDY (bc1815) found in the 1852 census of King twp, 1861 Mulmur twp and 1871 Tosorontio twp, m. Eliza McMARTIN in 1849. One of his sons was named Pearson Crossley LUNDY, which could indicate a connection with Jeremiah's second wife.
3. Samuel LUNDY (bc1820) with wife Mary, found in the 1871 census of Scott twp.
4. Joseph LUNDY (bc1825) found in the 1871 census of Tecumseth twp, wife was appaently Mrs Mary STEWARD/STEWART/STUART (m. 1848) and a daughter was named Rebecca.... after her grandmother?
5. Jeremiah LUNDY (bc1829) 1871 census of Scott with wife Susannah. Could he obviously be named after Jeremiah Sr, his father?
6. William LUNDY (c1801-1881) with wife Mary (c1813-1899), both buried in the Quaker cemetery at Schomberg and do not seem to fit anywhere else into the LUNDY family.
7. Enos LUNDY (married 1823-1902) as stated in the query, he is almost certainly a child of Jeremiah, with a
daughter Rebecca S. LUNDY who would no doubt be named after her grandmother.

The estate file of John HUTCHINSON in the Home District Surrogate Court, 15 Mar 1862, mentions the wife Ruth and the 5 children named in the query, including married surnames for the daughters : John, George, William, Mary Ann WOODYARD and Harriet McLEAN. The Home District Marriage Register furnishes marriage records for the 3 sons : George to Sarah SHIELDS, 23 Dec 1852, William to Anne CLARKE, 5 Jan 1865, and John to Harriet MASHINTER, 8 Mar 1866. The 3 sons are all buried in the same cemetery as the parents, but there are no obvious signs of the whereabouts of the daughters
