From an obit in the Toronto Globe, 23 Feb 1848:
At his residence, Berkeley Street, Toronto, on Thursday, 17th inst., at an advanced age, Corry COULSON.
He was a native of Ireland, a connection of the family of COULSON of County Fermanagh, and emigrated to Canada about 30 years ago,
settling in Toronto.
Will of Corry COULSON is found in the Home District Surrogate Court and names: wife Elizabeth COULSON alias GRIFFIN and his son and dtr Robert and Mary Jane, sister Irvine DARLING and her dtr Mary Jane WAINWRIGHT, brothers Christopher and Joseph and their sons named Corry, as well as 2 natural (meaning illegitimate) children by Catharine MacLGUN?, John and Mary.
