Icy road crash fatal
A 35-year-old Toronto mother of two is dead after the car she
was driving collided with an oncoming car in Scarborough Saturday
night. Lisa
RUTH was driving a 1989 Buick Regal northeast on
Danforth Rd. around 7 p.m. when her vehicle was struck by a 1987
G.M.C. Safari spinning into the oncoming lanes near Winter Ave.
The Safari's driver, a 34-year-old Toronto man, had lost control
due to slippery and icy roads.
Traffic services is investigating and anyone with information
is asked to call 416-808-1900 or CrimeStoppers at 416-222-8477.
