Local Pharmacist Turns 80
Following the Sunday morning service on May 27 the Congregation
of Gentle Shepherd Church surprised Bob
AVIS with a cake to celebrate
his 80th birthday. He is pictured with his wife Muriel and some
of their family who joined in the celebration. Bob's many years
as the pharmacist and owner of Flesherton Pharmacy have made
him a well known figure in the village, and apparently he is
not ready for retirement yet!
