The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a two-piece
dress of periwinkle blue silk crepe with matching, veiled hat
and navy accessories. She carried a nosegay of pink roses, sweet
peas and forget-me-nots. Miss Helen Ruth
BELFRY was her sister's
bridesmaid wearing a dusky rose two-piece dress of silk crepe,
with a rose hat of the dress material. and nosegay of vari-color
sweet peas. Harry Arthur
DUCKWORTH was groomsman and ushers were
Stanley COUSINS, Royal Canadian Air Force, and William R.
BARNES.
The reception was, at Coles tearoom, where the bride's mother
received in a black silk crepe ensemble with small veiled hat
in fuchsia shade and red rose corsage. The groom's mother assisted,
wearing air force blue crepe with matching hat and a similar
corsage. The wedding trip is to Montreal and Quebec, the bride
to travel in a printed silk costume with brown accessories.
