RDOGS Day at the Archive, Nov #2

On Saturday, November 16, approximately 40 OGS Members, along with Sarah Newitt, Executive Director, and Frances O’Regan, Manager of the Society’s Library Division & Social Media, took over the Archives of Ontario for the second time this year.

The good news is that the AO is going to allow us to do it again. It has now been confirmed that our members can look forward to 2 Member’s Only Days at the AO next year, one in the spring and another in the fall. Once the exact dates have been confirmed, all current OGS members will receive an invitation via email. As usual, registration will be on a first come, first serve basis. And yes, we do keep wait lists that are diligently checked if any cancellations come in.

Thank you to all of our Members for such an enthusiastic response for this event. Your support has ensured that OGS Day at the AO will be carried forward into the near future!

The OGS would also like to extend our deepest appreciation and thanks to the staff at the Archives of Ontario for their support and assistance in making our 2nd Member’s Only event at the Archive another great success. We look forward to the next event in Spring 2014.
