FYI: Ireland Reaching Out holds first ever ask an Expert session on April 30, 2013

Monday, April 29th, 2013

Those of us immersed in the all consuming hunt for our Irish ancestors likely already know about this, but for those who may not, there is a huge movement going on right now to reconnect Ireland’s diaspora with their ancestral roots.  Ireland Reaching Out has been set up as the go to resource for those researching their Irish ancestors.  Along with an army of volunteer parish liaisons spread throughout the country as the main point of contact for researchers, Ireland Reaching Out has announced their first ever online Expert Ireland family history Q&A session.

While Ireland Reaching Out is hosting the event, those wishing to participate and post queries should go the Ireland Family History facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/IrelandFamilyHistory.  Details about the event may be found here as well.

Please note: According to the instructions posted on Ireland Family History, the start time for the Q&A session is precisely at, or after, 13:30 (1:30) pm GMT and runs until 18:30 GMT.

If you do post a query, please consider sharing the response and/or your experience with us.
