Speaker: Dr. Kevin James, Associate Professor in the Department of History and Centre for Scottish Studies at the University of Guelph.
Brief Overview: In this talk, Kevin explores the value of the hotel register as a historical source, drawing on surviving books from Victorian Ireland to show how they illuminate infidelity, modes of travel and the social regimes of the hotel.
