A Heritage Certificate under Your Christmas Tree

It’s the gift giving season again and if you’re looking for the perfect gift, may we suggest an
Ontario Genealogical Society Heritage Certificate.

Make your research tangible by applying for one of four clubs and societies.

The Centenary Club - for those whose ancestors have been in Ontario for 100 years or more

The War of 1812 Society – for those who can prove descent from someone who fought on the Canadian/British side of the war

The 1837 Rebellion Society - for those who can demonstrate that an ancestor fought on either side of the rebellion in Upper Canada.

The Upper Canada Society – for those who can prove that they had an ancestor living in Upper Canada prior to February 10, 1941 1841 *(when Upper Canada became Canada West)

All proofs must be to genealogical standards.

This holiday season, take all your hard work and give your loved ones the gift of their heritage.
