FYI: Upcoming Heritage Event: Grey County Black History Event with Northern Terminus Journal Vol. 10 Release

The Emancipation Festival presents the Grey County Black History Event at Grey Roots. Speakers have been selected to share highlights of Black History in Grey County. Everyone is welcome to attend this day of shared learning, historical enquiry and music. Volume 10 of Northern Terminus: The African-Canadian History Journal is also being launched. Copies of Volume 10 and earlier volumes will be available to buy.

Date: February 23, 2013

Time: 9:30 am – 3:00 pm

Location: Grey Roots Museum & Archives, 102599 Grey Road 18, RR 4, Owen Sound (map)

Admission to the event is $25, and includes lunch and other refreshments. Make cheque payable to Black History Event and mail with your registration form by Feb. 13, 2013* to:
