There are several festive heritage events happening in the Niagara region in early December. The Laura Secord Homestead is holding a Christmas open house. Drop by and see how the early Ontario settlers would have decorated their homesteads for the festive season. Partake in some old-fashioned treats such as cider and cookies, crafts for the kids and view some exhibits of Christmas past.

Drop by Niagara Parks’ oldest property, McFarland House, and get a wee taste of a Victorian Christmas.  Enjoy some homemade cookies, mulled cider, and the all-natural historic Christmas decorations.

McFarland House is also hosting a very special Holiday tea.  For the first time ever, McFarland House is opening its Conservatory Tea Room to celebrate the festive season.
