Obituary and Death Notice Index

The indexing of published obituaries and death notices, which currently contains over 351,000 entries, is an on-going branch project in which Maiden names have been cross-referenced. Since people moved around the province and country during their lifetime, many of the names in our collection are "Strays". Any collection of this magnitude can sometimes have incomplete years. Included in this index are many obituaries and death notices from 1945 to 1950 and 1968 to 2013.
