Ken Stevenson is the featured speaker. Ken has published a book on the Stevenson family and will tell us about his methods of research.
Sheila Gibbs has sought out houses of Chatham-Kent inhabited by ghostly apparitions. Her presentation is entitled, “Haunted Chatham-Kent”. The theme is, houses and establishments in Chatham-Kent haunted by ghostly apparations. Be prepared for a spine tingling presentation!

Donna Cofell, our Past President, brings to us, “Gems From The Land Registry Office”. Donna is an excellent researcher and with her expertise often turns up interesting gems of knowledge.

"Restoring Old Photographs" is the topic of the presentation by Paul and Mary Janes of Lambton County.
Barry Fraser to speak on the Fraser family that originated in Scotland. Barry, along with his two brothers, has traced their family back to 1765 in Dores, Scotland on the northeast end of Loch Ness. Bring a friend to hear an interesting family history.

Kent Branch O.G.S. hosts the 17th annual Regional Meeting. Featured speakers are Cathy Knight and Kathryn Lake. There will also be an address by Margaret Jeffrey on the holdings of the Franco-Ontarienne Society (Société franco-ontarienne d’histoire et de génélogie) now located in Puce. Christmas Banquet - Sheila Gibbs is to be our featured speaker at our Annual Christmas Banquet. Sheila's topic is, "The Haunted of Chatham-Kent" The event will be held at the, "Active Lifestyles Centre". Tickets will be available for sale at the Kent Branch O.G.S. Library at the end of October.
