Responsive Web Page Behaviour

The WordPress theme used for this site is called, “Responsive“. This theme has the ability to display content on various devices such that important information can be viewed without side-scrolling. In other words,  menus and content will move around on smaller screens and collapse in ways that make for a better browsing experience on such devices: e.g.; smart phones, tablets, and ‘phablets’.

NOTE: (FOR WORDPRESS EDITORS) Images ‘may’ automatically re-size to accommodate smaller screens. Images that have been given size dimensions “may” or ‘may not’ re-size. 9i.e.; If an image has bee assigned a specific width it may not re-size.) In that case, the width value should be changed to “auto”, thereby restoring the automatic re-size function. This kind of editing must be done in the HTML view.

A very handy way to test this behaviour is simply to shrink the size of the browser window on any computer. Another method; visit http://www.responsinator.com – where you can view any website in simulations of various screen sizes.
