Meals at OGS Conference 2012

PLEASE BE AWARE that during the weekend, the only food services available at St. Lawrence College will be those provided for OGS. If you do not choose to purchase conference meals, the nearest restaurant is a Tim Hortons, six blocks from campus. As well, a number of other restaurants are within a 10-minute drive from campus.

THURSDAY

Those arriving Thursday should note that no evening meal will be available at the college as the cafeteria closes at 2:30 p.m.

FRIDAY

Breakfast – The college cafeteria will be open between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Lunch – The cafeteria will be open until 2:30 p.m.; or a bag lunch can be pre-ordered for $12.

Dinner – A BBQ buffet (chicken breast, Oktoberfest sausage, assorted fresh dinner rolls with butter, Greek pasta salad, garden salad, ice cream sandwich, lemonade, iced tea and water). Dine inside, on the patio or on the college grounds. $25.

Bag Lunches – These are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the convenience of  vendors and volunteers. They must be pre-ordered (see registration form). $12.

SATURDAY

Healthy Breakfast – Fruit salad, assorted yogurts, freshly baked muffins and croissants with butter and preserves, coffee, tea, water and juice. $13.

Lunch – Quiche, salad, rolls, dessert squares and beverages. $22; or a bag lunch can be pre-ordered for $12.

Banquet – Mixed salad greens with gala apples, pecans, dried cranberries and apricot vinaigrette; rolls and butter; chicken breast supreme Madeira tarragon jus, whipped potatoes, caramelized onions, roasted thyme carrots; chocolate cheese cake with banana caramel; coffee and tea. $50.

SUNDAY

Healthy Breakfast – Fruit salad, assorted yogurts, freshly baked muffins and croissants with butter and preserves, coffee, tea, water, juice. $13.

Lunch – Sandwiches, veggies, whole fruit, cookies and beverages. $16; or a bag lunch can be pre-ordered for $12.

 

Please note that vegetarian alternatives are available.  These should be requested on your registration form.  Any food allergies or sensitivities should also be noted.

The college residence rooms are all equipped with small refrigerators – the only appliance supplied.  There are outlets that can accommodate portable appliances such as coffee makers.
